I have a question. I am curious if anyone out there has any experience in the, get paid to take online survey business. I have seen countless number of advertisements about making money by taking online surveys. I have very limited experience with this market. The few times that I have been looking into the online survey market, raises a lot of questions. I am curious if there is a decent amount of money to be made in this market or do the people that attempt to do this, work for far less than minimum wage. The online surveys that I have run across in my brief investigation at this time look like you may make at best $5 an hour. I also have not seen what the payout policy is at for this market.
Here are some questions that I would love to have answered by those that have experience in this market:
Can you make enough money that actually adds up to a decent hourly rate?
What are the online survey sites that you have found that are fair and pay you without having to have hundreds of dollars built up?
What is the typical amount that is required to have built up before the company pays you?
How much time in a week do you have to devote to taking surveys to make some decent money?
Have you found a site that pays more then $1 to $2 dollars for a survey that takes on average 30 minutes to complete?
I will continue to look into the, get paid to take online survey business, but I would love for those that have experience in this market to share the answers to these questions and any other insight you have.

I have found that it pays to join a large number of sites, then whittle down the ones that are not profitable. All sites are not the same. Also some site give you very little surveys to begin with, but as you have been on the site longer and have answered simpler surveys, the site begins to trust you with higher paying and more complex surveys.
1. Depending on how many surveys are available and how many you qualify for it could possibly add up to a decent hourly rate, but remember you will not get rich from these websites and it takes a lot of patience.
2. There are a lot of them, my favorites being Global Test Market, Survey Savvy, and Toluna.
3. -Global Test Market: 1000points=$50 (easy and quick since many rewarding surveys available) (about 30-80 points per survey)
-Survey Savvy: only $1 minimum:)
-Toluna: 60,000 points=$20 I know seems bad but SUPER easy to reach since their are a lot of surveys available that are easy to qualify for with an average of about 6,000 points each.
4. It depends, id say about 1-2 hours a day so maybe 10-15 hours a week.
5. Survey Savvy pays very well. Ive received surveys up to $10 each but their surveys are limited and somewhat difficult to qualify for.
