I am not sure if Columnist Andrew McCarthy brought the subject up that four of our Supreme Court Justices are in their late 70′s plus or not.
I received an email from a friend that pointed this out to me and it does bring up what is probably one of the most important questions regarding the upcoming presidential election. What about future Supreme Court Justice appointments?
I’d just ask you to keep four things in mind as you think about the upcoming presidential election, think about:
1.. Justice Scalia just turned 78
2.. Justice Kennedy will turn 78 later this year
3.. Justice Breyer will be 76 in August
4.. Justice Ginsburg turned 81 about a week ago.
We wish them all well, of course, but the brute fact is that whoever we elect as president in November is almost certainly going to choose at least one and maybe more new members of the Supreme Court — in addition to hundreds of other life-tenured federal judges, all of whom will be making momentous decisions about our lives for decades to come.
If you don’t think it matters whether the guy making those calls is Mitt Romney or Barack Obama, I think you’re smoking some of the green leafy substance.
So for anybody who is thinking of not voting because your favorite candidate didn’t get nominated, or writing in a candidate who can’t win. Imagine this how scary things can get: SUPREME COURT JUSTICE ERIC HOLDER.
Sorry to have frightened you so severely.
Remember, if you do not vote or if you vote for a write in, and think you are sending a message of your frustration that will be heard. It’s a vote for Obama.
We have had enough “Hope and Change” to last many years.

I heard something today over the radio that goes great with this post.
If you do not vote in this election, then you have voted for Obama.
So please Vote, one way or another, just vote!
